We follow Mariken Heitman, writer, biologist and teacher, on one full season of work on an urban farm in Utrecht. Heitman teaches her students about the interconnectedness between the soil, plants and (human) animals. And what does the garden teach her? The images and sounds form a patchwork of sensations, trying to convey the almost sacral experience of tending to something that grows.​
